The Osoyoos Larose vineyard is perched confidently on the west-facing slopes of Osoyoos Lake. This arid, 80-acre bench enjoys long, warm days and cooler afternoons thanks to the surrounding mountains and nearby lake. The gentle slope of the bench tempers the intense south Okanagan sun that enhances the maturation of the fruit’s tannins, aroma and colour.

The soil blanketing the vineyard is an optimum mix of sand, clay, rock and gravel with more sand and clay towards the lake and more gravel and stone higher up the slope. In addition to providing good drainage, this soil combination allows the Bordeaux varietals to flourish.
