A Toast to Canada Day  Whether it's a bottle of beer, a sip of some fine wine, a cocktail, or one of our great Canadian whiskeys, there are plenty of ways to celebrate Canada Day. Here are some good options to choose from.

Red Wine:
I was one of the happiest kids on the block when the big, bold B.C. red Osoyoos Larose made it onto the LCBO's general list. If the idea of paying $45 for a Canadian red wine is a little nervewracking, a sip of this classic Bordeaux-style blend will wash away all doubts. (Especially if you've got a nice grilled steak to accompany it.)

92/100 Outstanding Canadian red  Joint venture wine with Bordeaux’s Gruaud Larose. Loads of black pepper and vanilla with hints of plums and prunes. Full and juicy with a vanilla and spice character with a tangy finish.
